Dubai Islands (formerly Deira Islands) is a major waterfront development by Nakheel, featuring five interconnected, man-made islands off the Deira coast, covering 17 sq. km. Aligned with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, this project aims to provide luxury living with 21 km of beaches, 86 resorts/hotels, and 9 marinas, focusing on sustainability and active lifestyles. 

Five Distinct Islands: The project includes Central Island, Shore Island, Golf Island, Marina Island, and Elite Island, each with a unique, specialized focus.

Amenities: The development will feature 21 km of beachfront, two 18-hole golf courses, two 9-hole golf courses, and 9 marinas.

Infrastructure: The islands will house the massive Deira Mall, which is expected to be the second-largest in Dubai, alongside 86 resorts and hotels.

Sustainability: Approximately 60% of the area is dedicated to open and green spaces, offering a blend of urban, eco-friendly, and wellness-focused environments. 

Central Island: The main hub, featuring mixed-use residential, retail (Deira Mall), and dining.

Shore Island: Dedicated to beachfront communities and resort-style living.

Golf Island: Features an 18-hole championship course, luxury villas, and wellness-focused spaces.

Marina Island: A hub for yachting, with marinas and promenades.

Elite Island: A low-density, exclusive area featuring 83 high-end villas with private beach access. 

Dubai Islands aims to offer a "last" significant waterfront community in the area, offering a blend of leisure, residential, and eco-friendly spaces.
